PC Print Center, also known as Purple Cow Print Center, was founded in 2004 in Ankeny, Iowa. Owners Grant Maupin and Bill Lankford came from Kinko’s, where they worked under founder Paul Orfalea for more than 35 years combined. They set out to build a locally owned print shop offering the same high-quality digital printing services, without the corporate feel.

In 2007, PC Print Center expanded to West Des Moines, giving customers the convenience of two locations and a broader range of services. Today, we are a full-service print, copy, and design center that stands apart from the rest of the herd.

We don’t just print documents. We help solve problems. From concept to completion, we work with you to produce smart, practical solutions that fit your budget and timeline. Our experience, equipment, and hands-on approach allow us to deliver projects faster and more efficiently than most people expect.
